Metallized Products are highly engineered composites made of an ultra-thin layer of aluminum combined with a wide range of special paper or film substrates in various qualities and weights. Metallized products have an average surface coating of 150-Angstrom units or 0.015 microns, this is 100 times thinner than the thinnest aluminum foil. Metallized Products are used in a multitude of applications in the label & packaging industry. |

Marketed under the GEPALUX® brand name, our metallized papers are manufactured to ensure attractive labeling for returnable as well as non-returnable bottles. GEPALUX can be printed with opaque or glazed inks. GEPALUX can be converted into sheets or rolls at high-speed and can ultimately be washed off as easily as non-metallized paper. In the field of packaging, GEPALUX paper also functions as an effective UV light, grease or moisture barrier.
GEFOLUX™ is our metallized film made with polyester or polypropylene and specialty web materials such as nonwovens or woven fabrics. Because of its unique shiny appearance GEFOLUX metallized films are used mainly in the field of in-mould labeling. GEFOLUX metallized film increases the shelf life of food as well as communicates freshness and high quality because of its brilliant appearance.
