Overlay papers are pure and highly uniform cellulose papers made from clean bleached pulp. Strong and very absorbent with different levels of wear abrasion, our overlay papers are manufactured in grades between 22 and 70 g/m2 and are available with a machine finish or matt-glazed surface.


Marketed under the TUKO® brand name, our overlay papers are used as a protective cover for décor papers. Clear or tinted, depending on customer demand, TUKO overlay papers' function is to form a film for the embedded melamine resin in the fiber structure. TUKO offers the following properties:

Protects the décor paper
Enhances appearance of printed décor papers
Improves the abrasive resistance and the durability of decorative laminates and panels
